Our Approach to Psychological Assessment
You have spent months, years, or even decades searching for answers.
Our goal is to help you gain the clarity and understanding you need to finally move forward with confidence.
At Elevated Psychological Services, we believe that psychological evaluations should be holistic, strength based, and meaningful. Without a thorough evaluation, it can be difficult to determine whether your concerns are related to:
Attention difficulties such as ADHD
Learning differences like dyslexia
Autism spectrum disorders
Emotional challenges such as anxiety or depression
Cognitive or processing differences
Lifestyle issues (nutrition, sleep, exercise, screen use)
A comprehensive psychological evaluation can help answer these questions and provide a roadmap for treatment, educational support, and personal growth.
The Evaluation Process
Our assessments go beyond simply administering tests. We take the time to understand your unique history, strengths, and concerns. Our comprehensive evaluations typically include:
Clinical interviews
Cognitive and academic testing
Attention and executive functioning assessment
Emotional and behavioral screening
Developmental history
Comprehensive diagnostic reports
Personalized recommendations
The goal of every evaluation is to provide clear explanations, informed diagnoses, and practical guidance for individualized next steps. Clarity begins at a higher perspective.
Intake Interview
We begin by understanding your concerns, relevant history, and decide which assessments are most appropriate for you or your child. This is often done virtually to help with parent schedules.
YOUR FIRST STEP IS A FREE 15-MINUTE CONSULTATION CALL
If you are considering a psychological evaluation for yourself or your child, our team can help you determine your best course of action. During a consultation call, one of our psychologists will:
Discuss your concerns
Review relevant history
Recommend the most appropriate evaluation
Assessment
You or your child complete a tailored, comprehensive in-person evaluation designed to answer your questions and concerns. This is typically 2-3 sessions of approximately 2 hours each.
Feedback
You receive a clear, detailed report with practical next steps, recommendations, and a diagnosis (if appropriate). Your child will receive a separate feedback session. These sessions may be virtual or in person.
