Teen Assessments

Support Tour Teen’s Growth with a Comprehensive Evaluation

The teen years can be complex and overwhelming—for both teens and their families. When your teen is struggling with school, attention, or emotional well-being, it’s not always clear what’s driving those difficulties or how to best support them. Without a clear picture, these challenges can continue to affect their confidence, relationships, and day-to-day functioning.

A deeper understanding can bring direction, relief, and a more effective path forward.

At Elevated Psychological Services, we provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for teens. Drawing from both school and clinical experience, our clinicians help you and your teen make sense of what’s going on and identify meaningful next steps for support and growth.

What We Assess

A comprehensive evaluation provides a deeper understanding of your teen’s strengths and challenges, helping guide informed decisions about support at school, at home, and beyond. Evaluations can also support academic accommodations (such as 504 plans or IEPs) and standardized testing accommodations (e.g., SAT, ACT).

We work with teens who may be experiencing challenges or showing differences in areas including:

  • Reading
Difficulty with reading fluency, comprehension, or processing written information

  • Writing
Challenges with organizing ideas, written expression, and clarity

  • Mathematics
Difficulty with problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, or foundational skills

  • Attention and executive functioning
Difficulty with problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, or foundational skills

  • Emotional and behavioral functioning
Anxiety, mood concerns, stress management, or challenges in peer relationships

  • Processing speed and memory
How efficiently information is processed, retained, and applied

  • Giftedness and advanced learning profiles
Identifying strengths and supporting appropriate academic placement or enrichment
