Dr. Deedee (Woodhouse) Russell, founder and owner of Elevated Psychological Services, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 28 years of experience working in both school settings and in private practice. She founded Elevated Psychological Services to broaden her reach and provide quality comprehensive individualized assessments for children, adolescents, and adults in the community. She has always had a passion for assessments, early intervention, and helping individuals live their best lives.

Dr. Russell has extensive experience conducting evaluations for learning disabilities, dyslexia, developmental disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), anxiety disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She takes a holistic and comprehensive approach, elevating strengths while addressing concerns. In addition to comprehensive evaluations, she is available for IEP meetings, school observations, and parent training. Dr. Russell is a Love and Logic facilitator and runs parenting groups.

Dr. Russell has specialized training and experience with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs, such as trichotillomania and skin picking). She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  Dr. Russell enjoys helping clients achieve their goals and reach their potential.  Using primarily a cognitive behavioral  approach to therapy, she focuses on assisting clients and families make healthy changes to reach a healthier, more balanced life. 

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Russell enjoys her husband, daughter, son, and two bonus sons. She is known for her compassionate and caring nature. She loves the outdoors, playing pickleball, and thrifting. She also enjoys a good cozy mystery.
